I would like to point out that my grandfather, Jose Tamborrel Suarez ,owned it from about 1940 to the early 1950's. In your main staircase is one of his statues (he had one just like it in his garden in Mexico City), and I also recognized the collection of the viceroy portraits which were his as well. The last time I was there a number of years ago, I found a small table which had belonged to my mother in one of your rooms. I loved this place, and it was so much fun to see on the web.
